NEVER,NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP!
Well here it goes. I am starting a blog. I am just jumping out there into Blog World. I am not even too sure who gets to read this or if anyone will. So bare with me while I learn the ropes. My blog is about my weight loss journey to fit into that BLACK DRESS. It has been a dream of mine to be able to dress up in a sexy little black dress and really really feel great. Don't get me wrong, I feel great about so many things in my life but rarely my weight. I have tried many times to shed the pounds and I have been successful a few times. Four years ago I joined Weight Watchers and lost 30 pounds!! I felt so good and healthy. My goal was to loose another 20 pounds but somehow I started to struggle and over the last year I put back on 20 pounds instead of loosing it! I am determined to stop here and not gain another pound. But I am not sure how I am going to do this yet. So the blog...maybe putting my thoughts out there and sharing the struggle will give me the strength to succeed. And maybe create a support network of Little Black Dress Ladies.
Way to go girl! I'm also trying to get down a few sizes so will be following your progress closely, and will pay particular attention to any tips you might want to share!
The blog is a terrific idea!

Mom, I am already looking forward to reading you next post! I am so excited I get to follow your journey even though I am 8 hours away. We can use my wedding in Mexico as a motivation - 1 year and 2 months to go! That would be a great occasion for your little black dress!
Can't wait to read more - I still can't believe I have such a savvy blogging Mom.

Janet, I would love to cheer you on in your quest (even though I see you as beautiful and classy now). I know what it is like to be at an ideal weight and then going backwards. It sucks but the good news is you know what you are missing.
Love your body for being so great at responding according to what you gave it. Now you can get on with it and this time consciously provide for your body in a nurturing loving way. I have some wonderful raw recipes (including chocolate). Let me know if this interests you. It is a great lifestyle (just a little hard socially) and many people find all their health issues fade away and the weight falls off.

I'm so proud of you for taking the first step! I know you can do it Janet. I've got about twenty little black dresses hanging in my closet. You're welcome to borrow one when you reach your goal ;) Good luck. And by way, you're beautiful the way you are.
