Ok...I have been at this for almost two and a half months. My weight loss has been to say the least slow...up and down...and I really want to step it up a notch. When I started The Little Black Dress Blog, I was all pumped up and excited that this would be my tool to weight loss. I guess I thought that if I put myself out there and journaled my journey the weight would just come off. I didn't want to call it a diet because I just wanted to change my habits and make a lifestyle change. But taking that approach has not resulted in the weight loss I need to be healthier. I still think blogging is an important part of the journey. And I do agree that slow weight loss is the right way to go but...my famous turtle speed is so slow that it is going backwards. As I mentioned in yesterday's blog, I need to make some well thought out changes. My change...is starting to write down everything I eat. I have resisted this in the past because I know how hard it is to get into the habit but it works. So, I am going to write down everything I eat for a week and then I will see what the results are for next Mondays weight in. Yesterday I made a food diary sheet so I could keep track of food, water and exercise. I am following the Weight Watcher point system because I have the literature to back up my portions and i am familiar with it. I also went to the gym last night and it felt gooooood to get back at it.
Tip of the Day...
Weight Control is not an issue for so many, easy for some and illusive for others. It can become down right embarrassing when you can't lose the weight you need to. By taking a good hard look at how you approach it, maybe you just need to do some fine tuning and keep on going. Never Give Up!
